Beryl Signature Hotel & Travel Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about Beryl Signature Hotel & Travel? Walking into this place on Quan Su Street feels like discovering a secret that somehow got a 9.3 rating without losing its soul. I mean, most hotels with scores like that in Hanoi’s Old Quarter have been polished into generic perfection, but this one – well, it actually feels like someone who cares about travel designed it.
The location is honestly perfect if you know Hanoi at all. Quan Su Street puts you right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to Hoan Kiem Lake to walk there in five minutes, but far enough from the weekend night market chaos that you can actually sleep. I stayed here during Tet season (probably not the smartest timing, but hey), and while the streets were absolutely packed, the hotel staff just rolled with it – they even helped me navigate the street closures to catch my flight. The building itself has this sort of understated elegance that works really well in the narrow streets here. You’ll walk right past it if you’re not looking, which is actually kind of nice because it means fewer tourists stumbling through the lobby at all hours.
What really sold me though was the attention to details you don’t expect. The rooms have proper blackout curtains – and if you’ve ever tried to sleep in Hanoi during summer mornings, you know why this matters. The air conditioning actually works (not always a given), and honestly, the shower pressure was better than my apartment back home. But here’s the thing that made me recommend it to three different friends already: the staff genuinely knows the neighborhood. Not just the touristy stuff, but like when I asked about finding good pho for breakfast, they sent me to this tiny place two blocks away where locals eat, not some overpriced spot catering to backpackers. The front desk guy – I think his name was Minh – even drew me a little map showing which entrance to use for the Temple of Literature to avoid the tour groups. These are the kinds of insights you get when people actually care about your experience rather than just checking you in and out. The WiFi works everywhere (tested it), the elevator doesn’t sound like it’s dying, and check-out was refreshingly straightforward. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Hanoi, but it nails everything that actually matters when you’re exploring a city like this.

The personnel was really kind and helpful. The bath tube was my favorite feature of the lovely and tidy apartment. We truly loved the tiny gifts the hotel sent us, such as fruits and a card, for our honeymoon and anniversary. It added to its uniqueness. Try the spa; we had two massages, both of which were artistic creations. Personally, I think the hotel's decor and scent are stunning and exquisite. I'd really like to return

Very helpful and kind personnel, Sofia. Despite being in the center of the action, you may still get a restful night's sleep in a room in the front of the property.

Excellent hotel in a prime location with a front desk open around-the-clock, making it a very safe place to live. The breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location—just ten minutes' walk from the lake and in the Old Quarter. The entire region is vibrant and lively. The bed was really comfy, and the room was nice. We received a lot of assistance from Sofia and Irene, who are wonderful individuals. We also reserved a Ha Long Bay day cruise. The onboard meal was fantastic, and the voyage was enjoyable.

The hotel is excellent; it is only a 10-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, and the area around it is full of great places to eat and shop. The rooms are quiet and clean, which is great for business travelers.

The bathroom was excellent, and the apartment was really roomy. There are hot beverages in the room, but there isn't much water because I wouldn't drink the tap water in Hanoi. However, the drinks—lemon tea and Vietnamese coffee—were pleasant.

I'll always stay here because of the handy location, the cozy bed, the lovely room décor, and the abundance of possibilities, like the spa and tours. The staff is polite and the breakfast is excellent. We had a nice excursion to Ha Long thanks to Jane. Sofia. will return in the near future.

Tidy and tastefully remodeled. The hotel staff makes you feel very welcome and is quite hospitable. They are always willing to provide a hand and offer guidance. Specifically, I would want to state who we would like to see again
