The narrow streets around here buzz with street food vendors and local life, but step inside and you’ve got your peaceful retreat.

The Room Experience

Here’s something I wasn’t expecting — the beds are genuinely fantastic. I’ve stayed in plenty of mid-range hotels across Southeast Asia, and usually you’re rolling toward the middle by morning, but not here. The rooms themselves are thoughtfully designed without being over the top, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The air conditioning actually works properly (trust me, this matters in Hanoi’s humidity), and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Food & Breakfast

The breakfast situation here is actually impressive — they’ve got continental, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, American, and buffet options, plus breakfast to go if you’re heading out early. But honestly, what caught my attention was how much people rave about the meals in general. There’s something to be said for a hotel where the food is genuinely recommended rather than just tolerated. The restaurant staff seems to know their stuff, and you can tell they take pride in what they’re serving.

Look, there are fancier hotels in Hanoi, but this place gets the fundamentals so right that you end up having a better experience than you’d expect.   I stayed total of 6 days. 2 days in Superior Room and extended to 4 more days in Junior Suite. Refer to my review on Junior suite.
  
  Junior suite is a much bigger room and for me, worth the money. But Superior Room is adequate if you are managing your budget.

  Staff were welcoming, room was clean with good daily housekeeping, breakfast staff like Daisy ensured you are well fed. Location was in quiet small street but step out into the main road and you are right in the midst of the excitement of the Old Quarters. Area was safe. Thanks to staff like Benzo who provided valuable local insights and Anna who was very attentive and ensured that I was well looked after.

  I have now stayed in every class of room in the hotel. I can say whichever room you pick it’s a bargain. The location is fantastic/where you need to be. An immersive experience without doubt. It being Vietnam you’ll need help/advice for tours/directions/taxis etc and Anna and Jessica are the stars of the show on the front desk.

  We loved our stay at Eliana Ruby Hotel. It's located down a cute lane way with plenty of food and coffee options nearby. Breakfast is simple but more than adequate with a small buffet and an a la carte menu from which you can order as much as you like. It's a short, easy walk to the lake and there is a mini mart not too far away. The staff were amazing! So welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Jessica, Anna and Daisy who helped make our stay so wonderful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Close to every thing around the old town , staff were excellent more then happy to help .Breakfast had a great selection of food ,kitchen staff were great banana pancakes and Pho were a favourite . Great boutique Hotel .

  My bedroom was comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast gave plenty of choice. Hotel in the middle of Hanoi Old Quarter, so easy to get around. Staff were the highlight, so kind and helpful.

  The hotel is well located up a small laneway off the budt road. The room was so quiet considering the location. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly both before and during my trip. The room was clean and well presented with a comfy bed.
