You know what really struck me about this place? It’s positioned perfectly for couples who want to explore the city on foot. I mean, Hoan Kiem Lake is just a few minutes’ walk away, and you can easily stroll to the weekend night market or duck into one of those tiny bia hoi joints that serve the best local beer. The restaurant scene around here is incredible — from street food vendors setting up right outside to proper dining spots where you can actually have a conversation. The staff mentioned that couples consistently rate the location a 9.5, and after spending time here, I totally get why.

The Room Experience

My room was on the fourth floor, and while it wasn’t huge (this is central Hanoi, after all), it was thoughtfully designed with everything you actually need. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly — which matters more than you’d think in Vietnam’s humidity — and there was enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The bathroom was modern and clean, with good water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of the city. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stayed at night, despite being right in the middle of everything.

Morning Fuel

The breakfast setup here actually surprised me in the best way. They’ve got both buffet options and vegan choices, which is pretty thoughtful for a hotel this size. I’m not vegan myself, but I noticed they put real effort into making sure those options weren’t just an afterthought — there were actually creative dishes that looked appealing to everyone. The coffee was decent (though let’s be honest, you’re in Vietnam, so the street coffee is going to blow your mind anyway), and the timing worked well whether you’re an early riser ready to hit the temples or someone who prefers a leisurely start.

This hotel works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a solid, well-located base that lets Hanoi be the star of the show. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy helping guests figure out the neighborhood — they’ll point you toward the good pho spots and away from the tourist traps. Parking isn’t really a thing here (you’re in the Old Quarter, so you’ll be walking anyway), but that’s actually part of the charm. For the price point and location, it delivers exactly what you want: a clean, comfortable place to sleep in one of the most vibrant parts of the city, with people who actually care about your experience.

  The location is perfect, near everything and at the same time away from the noise. The food was simple and good. The staff amazing the gentleman at the tour desk was able to help us with anything transportation and tours related. We had a great time and good value for money.

  Super friendly staff from reception to catering staff for breakfast. We felt comfortable straight away when we arrived early morning. They offered even coffee and breakfast to us Fantastic location in the old quarter we walked everywhere. Easy car ride from the airport about 40 minutes. Great laundry service. Decor a bit dated but super clean and we had a big room. Would recommend for Hanoi stay.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing but if you can't walk stairs let them know in advance as the lift only goes to the 6th floor and some rooms are on 7 and 8

  We loved our balcony room. Large. Clean. Noisy, but of course it is above the street so what do you expect. 😉
  Great location. Shops and food and cafés near it.
  Lovely bed. Comfortable and spacious.
  
  What could be improved: Shower flooded room. Lift off the drain cover! Before showering! Needs a notice to tell you.
  Breakfast was OK. But hhe fried eggs and fried rice were all cold!!! Why?
  Luckily, fruit and pho available 😋
