You know what struck me first about HNC Premier Hotel & Residences? It’s this sleek tower that somehow doesn’t feel completely out of place on Lý Nam Đế street, which – if you know Hanoi’s Old Quarter – is saying something. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the chaos of Hàng Mã with all its party supplies and wedding decorations, but step inside and it’s like entering a different world entirely. The lobby has this modern minimalist thing going on that actually works, though I’ll be honest, it took me a moment to find the elevators because everything’s so seamlessly designed.

What really won me over was how they’ve figured out the location thing without making a big deal about it. You’re close enough to Hoàn Kiếm Lake that you can walk there in your pajamas if you want (not that I recommend it), but far enough from the weekend night market madness that you’ll actually sleep. The rooms themselves are bigger than what you’d expect in this part of town – I had space to properly open my suitcase, which honestly felt luxurious after some of the shoebox hotels I’ve stayed in around here. The windows are properly soundproofed too, because let’s face it, Hanoi doesn’t really do quiet. From the upper floors, you get these glimpses of the lake between buildings, and at sunrise when the tai chi crowds gather, it’s actually pretty magical.

The staff deserves a mention because they’ve got that rare combination of being genuinely helpful without hovering. They knew I was jet-lagged before I did and had restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots – actually sent me to this incredible bún chả place on a side street that I never would’ve found otherwise. Check-in was smooth, none of that “your room isn’t ready yet” drama, and they stored my luggage without any fuss when I had to leave early on checkout day. The breakfast spread is solid too, proper coffee (not that instant stuff some places try to pass off), and they do a decent phở alongside the continental options. Only tiny complaint? The gym is a bit cramped, but honestly, you’re in Hanoi – go walk around the lake like everyone else. With a 9.1 rating, this place has clearly figured out what travelers actually want versus what hotels think we want, and that makes all the difference when you’re trying to experience the city rather than just survive it.

  We loved it here so much we stayed twice! The location is great, the rooms are lovely, but best of all, the staff will treat you like friends. They are so lovely and caring and they made both of our stay’s 10/10 :). We highly recommend.

  The stay was fantastic. We stayed as a family and I couldn't have asked more from them. They arranged everything at genuine cost – Halong bay tour and Ninh Binh day tour. They even adjusted few last minute request. They always greeted when we were there and always ready to help. The apartment was comfy and had all required amenities. There was also a nearby supermart from where we could buy things to cook ourselves. Location was fantastic, everything is walkable from here. If you want you can book a grab taxi which comes in just 2 min.
  
  If anyone is looking for quiet, peaceful and comfy stay in an apartment near old quarters of Hanoi, one should stay here.

  But as a suggestion, do include a mixer to make the kitchen perfect.

  The location: off the main streets so that you don’t have noises or people walking downstairs. The kindness of the staff: Lee the manager and his crew went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed. From booking tours and bus tickets, to helping us keep our luggage even if we didn’t book more nights. I am speechless for how nice they were throughout our stay, before and after

  Great place and facilities. Studio was a nice change from normal hotels/homestay. Even upgraded us for free! Staff were amazing.

  Great location — quiet but close to the action. The staff are unparalleled — Apple, Lee, and Leo were all wonderful and helped give us pointers for Hanoi as well as booking airport rides. The AC and elevator worked great also. Housekeeping staff came every day (unless we hung "do not disturb" sign). Having extra space and not just a one-room hotel was a game changer for making our trip relaxing.
  
  What could be improved: The tub is high (mid-thigh for me, and I am 5'5"), so be careful getting in and out of the shower.

  This hotel is in a lovely quiet part of Hanoi so it was very peaceful to sleep at night. Staff were super friendly and always ready to help out when needed. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious! Perfect place to stay 😊
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately on the first night the elevator broke so we heard a big bang and lots of commotion in the morning which woke us up early after a late night as there was lots of panic and shouting – however I’m aware this was a once off and nothing they could control. They had the issue resolved by later that day and the elevator was fixed again – very sufficient!
