This three-star property sits right on Phố Bát Đàn, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The lobby isn’t huge or flashy, but it’s clean and welcoming — exactly what you want after navigating Hanoi’s bustling streets for the first time.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about staying in Hoan Kiem — you’re basically in the heart of everything that makes Hanoi special. I mean, you can walk to Hoan Kiem Lake in about five minutes, and the Old Quarter’s maze of street food stalls and shops is right at your doorstep. What couples seem to love most (and they’ve rated the location 9.5, which is pretty impressive) is how easy it is to explore on foot. You know those romantic evening walks around the lake? Yeah, you can do that without dealing with taxis or figuring out the bus system.

The Room Experience

The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid three-star place — nothing fancy, but everything works. My room was clean, the air conditioning actually cooled things down (crucial in Hanoi’s humidity), and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The windows face the street, so you get a real slice of local life — motorbikes, street vendors, the whole Hanoi symphony. Some people might find it noisy, but I actually enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of the city winding down.

Practical Matters

What I really appreciated was how the staff handled the little things that can make or break a trip. They speak decent English, which helps when you’re trying to figure out where to catch the bus to Ha Long Bay or need directions to that pho place everyone’s talking about. The hotel also arranges travel services — it’s right there in the name, after all — and they seem to know what they’re doing. I didn’t use their travel booking services myself, but I overheard other guests getting solid advice about day trips and transportation.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the kind of place that’s going to wow you with a fancy spa or an elaborate breakfast spread. But what it does well is give you a comfortable base in an absolutely perfect location for exploring Hanoi. The 8.0 rating makes sense — it’s reliable, well-positioned, and the staff genuinely seems to care about helping guests have a good time. For couples especially, there’s something nice about being able to step out your front door and immediately be in the thick of one of Southeast Asia’s most charming cities. Plus, when you’re spending most of your day out exploring temples, markets, and cafes, you really just need a clean, comfortable place to crash at night.

  Has been an amazing stay from as soon as I checked in. Large room with a balcony which is worth its weight in gold simply to get out of the hustle & bustle below. Near everything you need.

  – there are a lot of fake reviews of hotels in Hanoi, me and my boyfriend were a bit cautious about finding the right place but this hotel was fabulous.
  – We liked it so much here we cancelled our other hotel in Hanoi and came back here after we did a cruise in Ha Long Bay.
  – compared to other hotels in the area the rooms are huge, lots of space to leave luggage.
  – the staff are really lovely and go out of their way to help. They helped us organise airport transfers too.
  – we used the laundry services and our clothes came back the next day smelling so nice
  – location is in the old town centre, easy to walk around or get a taxi

  Great location, comfortable room and lovely shower! The staff were always so welcoming and helpful. Tsang was always around to give us suggestions of where to eat and how to find local stores, a true star!

  We had a lovely stay at Infinity Hanoi Hotel. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We also had our laundry done there, which was quick and convenient.
  
  The location is perfect — right in the Old Quarter, within walking distance to everything, but still quiet enough at night for a good rest. It’s a great base to explore Hanoi. We definitely recommend it!

  Great location. Near old town but not on super busy street. Stunning views. Fantastic coffee next door. Ask the reception team. A balcony to sit and watch the world go by.

  Great clean room and attentive maids. Just outside old quarter but right by train street which is perfect, not as loud late as night as staying near let’s say beer street. The balcony was epic to watch the sunset from. Would def recommend this hotel.
  
  What could be improved: The shower didn’t have a curtain which kinda got the whole bathroom / toilet wet. Otherwise would have given a 10.
