I mean, you can still walk to all those lakeside cafés and the weekend night market, but you’re not dealing with the constant motorbike honking that keeps you up at night.

The building itself has this clean, modern vibe that feels refreshingly uncluttered after wandering through Hanoi’s wonderfully chaotic streets all day. Check-in was smooth – the staff actually speaks solid English, which honestly makes a difference when you’re tired and just want to get to your room. What really got me though was stepping into the room and seeing that West Lake view. Not every room has it (ask specifically when booking), but if you snag one, those sunsets are something else. The rooms are spacious by Hanoi standards, and the beds are properly comfortable – none of that rock-hard mattress situation you sometimes get. The bathroom setup is sleek, good water pressure, and they’ve got that rainfall showerhead that actually works.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the rooftop area gives you this fantastic perspective of the lake and the city beyond it. Early morning up there with coffee? Perfect. The pool’s decent sized and rarely crowded – most guests seem to be business travelers who are out during the day. Parking is handled well too, which matters if you’re renting a car or taking taxis frequently. The neighborhood itself is great for morning walks or evening strolls along the water, and you’ve got legitimate local food options within a few blocks – not just the tourist-priced stuff. That little bánh mì spot about three minutes down the street toward the lake? Don’t miss it. The hotel’s restaurant is fine, nothing revolutionary, but their breakfast spread is solid and they do a decent phở if you’re craving something familiar. One small thing – the elevators can be slow during busy times, but that’s pretty minor. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works. Good location without being in the thick of everything, comfortable without being stuffy, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work out. For the price point and that 8.7 rating, it delivers what it promises.

  I enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the facilities and exceptional guest services. Although we checked out at 12:00 noon, our flight wasn't until later that night, so we use the spare time shopping in Lotte Mall. When we went back to pick up our luggage, I truly appreciated that they allowed us to use their facilities so we could freshen up and change before heading to the airport.

  The staff is incredible–so kind, helpful, doing lots of extra things (like helping me to cross the busy street). I had a fantastic stay. This is truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.
