The kitchen actually has proper counter space (rare in Hanoi apartments, trust me), and whoever set this place up clearly understands that travelers need more than one tiny towel and a decorative soap bar. The bed’s firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with a cloud all night, and the AC doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on the roof – small victories that matter when you’re dealing with Hanoi’s humidity. I mean, the whole setup feels like someone’s well-organized friend let you crash at their place, except they thought ahead about all the stuff you’d actually need.

What really sold me on this spot though is the neighborhood vibe. Cù Chính Lan isn’t one of those streets that tourists stumble onto, so you get this authentic slice of local life – morning coffee vendors who’ll remember your order by day three, the sound of motorbikes that somehow becomes white noise instead of chaos, and actual Vietnamese families going about their daily routines. It’s maybe a 15-minute ride to Hoan Kiem Lake when traffic cooperates (which is never, but whatever), and you’re close enough to those massive shopping centers in Thanh Xuan if you need to grab anything legitimate. The street food situation around here is honestly better than what you’ll find in the touristy areas – there’s this bánh mì lady two blocks over who’ll ruin you for all other bánh mì, and don’t get me started on the phở joint that opens at 6 AM and sells out by noon. Plus, and this is key, you can actually walk around here at night without dodging selfie sticks and tour groups. The whole area feels lived-in rather than performed, if that makes sense. Sure, it takes a bit longer to get to the major sights, but after a few days of having your own quiet corner of the city to come back to, you’ll get why that 9.5 rating isn’t just hype.

  Các bạn nhất định phải trải nghiệm dịch vụ ở đây. Thứ nhất a chủ cực dễ thương, mặc dù mình chỉ nói chuyện qua điện thoại. Thứ 2 phòng vô cùng vô cùng đáng iu nhé các bạn. Nói chung mình rất hài lòng, và nếu như có cơ hội quay trở lại Hà Nội công tác, chắc chắn mình sẽ ghé lại đây lần nữa nếu còn phòng.

  Phòng ở trung tâm, rất thuận tiện cho di chuyển các khu vực xung quanh.
  Giá thì rất tốt rồi.
  Mình chỉ cần phòng để ngủ nghỉ và tắm rửa nhưng phòng còn có tiện ích khác thuận tiện nấu ăn.
