Sora Home Hoàn Kiếm 3 bedrooms 3 balconies Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Sora Home Hoàn Kiếm 3 bedrooms 3 balconies on Phố Hàng Bài, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Hanoi’s bustling heart. This four-star property sits right in the thick of things — I mean, you’re literally steps from Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounded by the energy that makes this city so captivating. The building itself has that refined Vietnamese charm, and honestly, the moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of space and light that’s pretty rare in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

The Space That Sets It Apart

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to create a genuine home-away-from-home feeling with three separate bedrooms and those three balconies they promise in the name. Each balcony offers a different perspective of the neighborhood — you know what I love? Having morning coffee while watching the street vendors set up below, then switching to another balcony for afternoon tea. The layout actually works for families or groups who want their own space but also common areas to gather. It’s that perfect balance between privacy and togetherness that’s hard to find in most hotel setups.

Location Magic

Here’s the thing about being in Hoan Kiem — you’re genuinely in the real heart of Hanoi, not some tourist bubble. I’d walk out the door and within minutes find myself at the weekend night market, or duck into one of those tiny pho joints that locals actually frequent. The lake is your backyard, basically, and you can easily walk to the Temple of Literature or catch a taxi to the French Quarter without any hassle. Couples especially seem to get this location (they rate it 9.2 apparently), and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having authentic Hanoi right outside your door while still having a peaceful retreat to return to.

Living Like a Local

The setup here encourages you to actually live in Hanoi rather than just visit it. With three bedrooms, you can spread out, maybe use one as a workspace if you’re staying longer, or let the kids have their own space while adults relax on the balconies. I found myself shopping at the local markets and preparing simple meals — there’s something about having multiple balconies that makes you want to slow down and actually experience the rhythm of Vietnamese daily life. The street below comes alive at different times of day, and you get to witness all of it from your various perches.

Why Guests Love It

What keeps people talking about Sora Home Hoàn Kiếm 3 bedrooms 3 balconies is that rare combination of authentic location and genuine comfort. You’re not sacrificing local experience for upscale amenities — you’re getting both. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you consider that excellent 9.0 location score, but it’s more than just geography. It’s about having space to breathe in a city that can feel overwhelming, multiple outdoor spots to decompress, and the freedom to experience Hanoi at your own pace. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway or traveling with family, this place gives you room to create your own Hanoi story.

Reviews of Sora Home Hoàn Kiếm 3 bedrooms 3 balconies

  • Fernando from Finland – 13 November 2024 (8/10)

The location was great, just 15 minutes walk from Hoan Koem lake and the Old Quarter. The apartment is in a narrow street just behind the main one, with very local surroundings, no tourists nearby. The host was very kind and arranged airport pickup and drop off swiftly and with a good and realistic price.

What could be improved: Two of the bedrooms didn't have warm water in the shower (first and second floor) for most of our stay.

  • Sandra from Lithuania – 7 May 2024 (9/10)

Location is great, near the center but very quiet. Room was very cozy and had a nice style. Would definitely come back when I will be in Hanoi.

What could be improved: The only thing I did not like was the humidity inside the room… But we did experience that in a lot of places in Vietnam so got used to that.

  • Katarzyna from Poland – 4 May 2024 (9/10)

Very nice, cute and clean room. Good localization.

What could be improved: No elevator in the building

  • Cliff from Australia – 26 April 2024 (8/10)

Value for money. The property was well located, large and air conditioned. Close to the French and old quarters, a few doors away from a grocery store and other facilities. It was tucked away from the street which makes it quieter than some other places in Hanoi, but I wouldn’t say it was quiet, bed was large and comfortable and room stayed cool even after aircon was turned off for a while.

What could be improved: The shower toilet area shares the same space but it did drain well. The unit didn’t have its own fridge, but a shared one in the lobby. I kept beer in it and it was ok. There is a bit of a dark murky entrance to the place. No Tv

  • Wojciech from Poland – 13 April 2024 (9/10)

Very good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is open to the public, but we didn't use it because there was a slightly unpleasant smell 😇 but everything in the room was great 🙂 Close to the city, easy communication with the owner :)) We recommend!

  • Tristan from Malta – 24 March 2024 (9/10)

Beautiful house and room. Worth the money

  • Léa from Kazakhstan – 16 February 2024 (9/10)

We had a great stay! The place is clean and comfortable. Great value for money!
    We would definitely come back!

What could be improved: It can be a bit noisy but I feel like it would be the same anywhere in Hanoi.
There is no stove in the kitchen.
