I mean, you’re literally steps away from Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter’s maze of streets. The lobby has this welcoming vibe that’s polished without being stuffy, and the staff actually seems genuinely happy to see you arrive.

What I love about staying here is how you can walk everywhere that matters in Hanoi. The famous weekend night market? Five minutes on foot. Need to catch a water puppet show at Thang Long Theatre? Easy stroll. You’re also perfectly positioned to explore those narrow streets where locals grab their morning pho — and trust me, that’s where the real magic happens. Couples seem to particularly appreciate this setup, which makes sense given how romantic those evening walks around the lake can be.

Here’s something that surprised me — the beds are genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable. After spending days walking on Hanoi’s uneven sidewalks and navigating the controlled chaos of motorbike traffic, you really appreciate sinking into a quality mattress. The room I stayed in was well-appointed without being flashy, with good blackout curtains that actually block out the street noise. The air conditioning works properly too, which is crucial during Hanoi’s humid summers. Natural light filters through large windows, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout the day.

The spa component isn’t just a name — they actually offer decent treatments that help you unwind after long days of sightseeing. I tried their traditional Vietnamese massage, and it was exactly what I needed after climbing up and down the steep steps of the Temple of Literature. It’s authentic and reasonably priced, with skilled therapists who understand traditional techniques.

The restaurant serves decent Vietnamese and international options, though honestly, with all the incredible street food nearby, you’ll probably eat out most of the time anyway. What really works here is the combination of being centrally located without premium prices, plus having amenities like the spa when you need to recharge between adventures. Guests consistently praise the value for money and the genuine hospitality throughout their stay.

  Great location, clean and spacious room, very kind and welcoming staff, especially Flora. They allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was excellent. However, an important detail that doesn’t depend on the staff is that the swimming pool is not inside the hotel: guests use the pool of another hotel located a 5-minute walk away.
  
  This means you don’t have the convenience of just going up to the rooftop from your room for a quick swim, even for 5 minutes, several times a day, or taking a dip before a shower when you return to the hotel.
  
  In short, I believe it should be clearly and visibly stated that the pool is not within the property. Personally, I had selected this hotel using the “pool” filter specifically, because rain was forecast and I have a foot problem, so I was looking forward to having a pool directly in the building. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing surprise to find out otherwise.
  
  Had I known this in advance, I would not have chosen the same hotel, as it’s simply not possible to enjoy the pool in the same way.
  
  Yes, they do offer transportation to the other hotel, and you can use the pool all day, etc., but the convenience of having it within the same structure as your room is incomparable.
  
  It’s unfortunate that this information was not communicated, and that Booking did not verify the filters more accurately.

  The location is very good. Staffs are very cordial and hospitable. Rooms are very clean and tidy.
