It’s tucked away on Phan Kế Bính street – you know, that quieter stretch that runs parallel to some of the busier roads but doesn’t get all the motorbike chaos. First thing that hit me was how the building actually feels more like a proper apartment complex than your typical cookie-cutter hotel, which makes sense given the name. The lobby’s pretty understated, nothing flashy, but there’s this clean, modern vibe that immediately put me at ease after dealing with Hanoi’s organized chaos all day.

What really won me over was the attention to detail – I mean, these guys clearly thought about what travelers actually need. The rooms are spacious by Hanoi standards (and trust me, I’ve stayed in some shoebox-sized places around here), with proper work desks that don’t wobble when you’re trying to type, and – this might sound weird – but the water pressure in the shower is actually fantastic. You’d be amazed how rare that is in some parts of the city. The air conditioning works without sounding like a helicopter landing on your roof, which is crucial during those sticky summer months when Hanoi turns into a sauna. I also appreciated the little kitchenette setup – nothing fancy, but perfect for heating up some bánh mì or storing those late-night snack runs from the convenience stores.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to Ba Dinh Square in about ten minutes if you want to do the touristy Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum thing, but you’re far enough away that you won’t be dealing with tour bus noise at 6 AM. There’s a decent phở place literally around the corner (the locals line up there every morning, which is always a good sign), and you can catch a taxi or Grab to the Old Quarter in maybe fifteen minutes depending on traffic. The staff genuinely seems to care – they helped me figure out the most efficient route to avoid construction on Điện Biên Phủ street, which saved me probably an hour of sitting in traffic. Actually, that 8.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here a few nights. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a city as intense as Hanoi.

  The apartment has everything one needs. Also, the location is great, there are many restaurants and coffee shops around the area. Great value for money. The kitchen is very well equipped.
