TQT Hotel Overview
Look, I’ll be straight with you about TQT Hotel – it’s one of those places that grows on you once you figure out what you’re getting into. Tucked away on Yet Kieu Street, which honestly most tourists walk right past, you’re actually in this sweet spot where you can stumble to the Old Quarter’s chaos in about three minutes, but still get some decent sleep at night. The building itself is pretty typical for a newer Hanoi hotel – narrow, stretches up rather than out, and the lobby’s got that polished marble thing going on that screams “we’re trying to be fancy” but somehow pulls it off without being obnoxious about it.
What actually surprised me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood. I mean, you ask most hotel people where to get good pho and they’ll point you toward some tourist trap, but these guys sent me to this tiny place two blocks over where I was literally the only foreigner slurping noodles at 7 AM. The rooms are… well, they’re fine. Nothing that’ll blow your mind, but the AC works (crucial in Hanoi summers, trust me), the bathroom’s clean, and you’ve got enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The beds are actually pretty comfortable – firmer than what you might be used to back home, but I slept well enough. You know what I really appreciated? The windows open. Sounds silly, but half the hotels here seal you in like a submarine, and sometimes you just want to hear the city waking up.
The location is honestly the real selling point here, though I wouldn’t call it convenient – I’d call it smart. You’re close enough to Hoan Kiem Lake that you can jog over there in the morning before the motorbike madness starts, but far enough from the backpacker central that you’re not dealing with drunk twenty-somethings stumbling around at 2 AM. There’s this little coffee shop literally next door where the owner makes probably the strongest ca phe sua da in the district – I lived on that stuff for a week. The 7.3 rating makes sense to me; it’s not going to be anyone’s dream hotel, but it does what it promises without any major surprises. Honestly, if you’re the type who spends most of your time out exploring anyway and just needs a clean, quiet base to crash at, this works. Just don’t expect them to have solved the eternal Hanoi elevator problem – it’s slow, it’s tiny, and if you’re on the sixth floor with heavy bags, well, consider it part of the adventure.

What could be improved: Hello
We arrived last night and we didn't sleep. We are on the main road and all night we heard the works. We regret not informing us of this incident! In room 610 we have room light, lamp on stand and kettle that are out of service. Cordially아ㅆㅏ from South Korea – 14 August 2023 (9/10)
Location of hotel is good for the people who will participate the exhibition..
Hotel is really close to I.C.E hanoi exhibition center..
What could be improved: I lost my room card during I stayed and reissued the ticket from the hotel..
But the people who stay another room could open my room door with another room card.
I saw young children who stay other room touched all doors using their room card and one door ( my room) was opened..
I shoudl tell this to hotel staff but I didn`t do cuz it is my last check-out day,,Takenori from Japan – 25 May 2023 (6/10)

Отель выбрал из-за непосредственной близости к EXPO. Местоположение в довольно спокойном квартале без лишней суеты. Звуки с улицы ночью не мешали. Персонал вежливый и гостеприимный.
What could be improved: Завтраки посредственные, вроде бы есть выбор, но выбрать нечего. По вкусу на слабую 4.
Номера старенькие, хотелось бы видеть их обновлёнными, но даже в текущем состоянии они вполне добротные.Kimura from Japan – 7 April 2023 (8/10)
