And speaking of summer, the pool area actually gets some decent use because it’s big enough that you’re not fighting families with screaming kids for a lounge chair (though weekends can get busy, fair warning).

What really struck me was how the rooms feel more like serviced apartments than typical hotel boxes. You get proper space to spread out, and the kitchen setup means you’re not completely at the mercy of restaurant prices if you’re staying more than a few days. The nearby Keangnam Tower area has some solid international restaurants if you get tired of local food, and you’re actually pretty close to some decent local bánh mì spots that most tourists never find. It’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but for the price point and that whole “living like a local” vibe, it works really well.

  No breakfast was included in the deal. The location was good and plenty of marts and pharmacys were around.
