The neighborhood has this relaxed, almost village-like feel that’s completely different from the chaos of the Old Quarter — though you can easily get there in about 15 minutes by taxi. There are some fantastic local coffee shops within walking distance, and I mean the kind where you’ll be the only foreigner sipping ca phe sua da with the regulars.

The suites live up to their name — these aren’t cramped hotel rooms but actual living spaces with separate areas for sleeping and relaxing. Each room has a small kitchenette, which turned out to be incredibly handy for storing fruit from the local markets and making morning coffee exactly how I like it. The beds are surprisingly comfortable, and the air conditioning works properly (trust me, this matters in Hanoi’s humidity). What I really appreciated was the attention to cleanliness — everything felt fresh and well-maintained without that sterile hotel smell.

Practical Perks

One thing that immediately won me over was the parking situation — they actually have private spots right at the hotel, which is pretty rare in this part of Hanoi. If you’re planning to rent a motorbike to explore the city (and you should), this is a huge relief. You won’t be circling blocks looking for somewhere safe to leave it. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the building, and there’s a small restaurant on-site that serves decent Vietnamese breakfast — though honestly, I’d recommend venturing out to try the pho at the local spots nearby.

  Apartments are lovely, clean and spacious. Great location and easy check in
  
  What could be improved: Shower/bath leaked a lot but the cleaner was lovely and helped. Try and have the right money when you pay – I had to message to get my change (twice)

  Really nice place and the location is about 4km from Old Quarter. The bus runs very near and it's fast to get places even with the terrible traffic.
  Bed is very soft and space is nice.
  
  What could be improved: Shower hot water runs out very fast, so hope you like cold showers. Must space out showers for two people. Unexcusable for this price

  The room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and attentive, but spoke very little English, so we communicated effectively, through Google Translate

  The place was great. It was a self service apartment with housekeeping on request. Everything about it was spot on. The aircon was a rare treat in that if wasn't directly over the bed s on you could have it on comfortably at night.
  
  What could be improved: There was one garage night manager who took an exception to foreigners. He liked to abuse me and others – loudly abusing me and others in his own language. He should be sacked.
  The day garage manager (blue uniform) was the opposite. Friendly, helpful and happy. Otherwise the place was great.

  What could be improved: I may have been unlucky, but I was left waiting for 1 hour to check-in to my room. This happened after providing my arrival time on booking.com. There is no actual check-in counter, just a sitting area in the lobby of the building. The phone number for the reception contact person did not work, and after the first day of my visit, I saw the contact info in the lobby was removed. Hopefully this gets fixed for future visitors.

  The place is clean and well equipped. Good location in Westlake with many international restaurants around but still close to the main tourist attractions.
  
  What could be improved: The check in process was a bit strange. There is no reception as it is more of an apartment rental than hotel. We got the keys from a security guard who was on the phone with who we presumed was the owner. It worked out fine but felt a bit strange. Also the doors are unlocked with a code and there is no card or key for the elevator, we never felt unsafe but felt a but uneasy leaving our valuables in the apartment.

  Good location in Tay Ho, yet quiet. Simple but well finished apartments. I would stay again on my next work trip.
  
  What could be improved: Check in was poorly managed – overwhelmed security guard dealing with 3 arrivals at same time. This needs some work. Also, they only take cash, and do not issue receipts, while they advertise credit cards.
